Long time followers know I’ve loved creating and sharing well before the days of Instagram and Tiktok–back when it was all about blogs and websites. This corner of the internet has always felt like my safe space to share what’s inspiring me, my own home projects, and more of my personal thoughts and life happenings. As blogs became less of a thing I published less, but still found myself drawn to this medium. With that said, I’m happy to share I have finally launched a Substack–one that will take the place of my newsletter, ‘From the Desk Of’.
What to Expect
The posts over on Substack, also titled ‘From the Desk Of’, will be very similar to what you were used to seeing as a newsletter subscriber. What I’m up to currently (reading, watching, spritzing, etc), recent blog posts, pins inspiring me, and the ‘Inspired Spaces‘ series (a curated collection inspired by a room I love).
I’ve also added a new series called ‘Mini Mockup‘–where you’ll get to see room designs that never actually get to come to fruition (I do these all the time for fun!). I’ve also been using Substack as a place to share what I’ve been cooking lately–most of the recipes are ones I’ve found online, but I’ll share my thoughts and any tweaks I make.
Posts go live Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday–that way you can either have a little blurb to read (almost) daily, or can catch up on what I’ve been posting once over the coffee on the weekend. Each post is usually less than a three minute read.
How to Subscribe
If you were already a subscriber for ‘From the Desk Of’, your subscription will automatically be transferred over to Substack. While I do publish four times a week over there, I don’t plan to spam you with emails every time–possibly just once or twice a week when there’s posts I’m really excited to share. You can visit my page anytime to see what’s new.
If you aren’t subscribed, you can sign up here (press ‘Subscribe’ at the bottom of the page–all posts are free for now!) and catch up on all the posts you missed the last few of weeks under the Archive tab on Substack.
