LOCATION | RALEIGH, NC
Whenever we shoot content for the blog, our location is typically inspired by my ensemble. We choose either sleek and modern locations for sophisticated and chic looks, or natural locations for a more boho-inspired style. Lately, I’ve loved some of the locations we’ve shot at so much, that those places have actually started to inspire my way of dressing!
This location may look a little familiar to you – it’s where Ryan and I had my birthday picnic just a few weeks ago. I was so taken by the images captured that day; something about the setting sun and a big open field made me feel transported to a different time and place.
Since that day, I’ve gravitated towards choosing more 1940’s and 50’s styled looks. I love the soft romantic silhouettes of that time, and just the overall classiness and femininity. I fell in love with the midi-skirt trend after this post (still one of my all time favorites), and couldn’t help but think that this lighter hue for spring, paired with a linen crop top by Line + Dot was the perfect combination for my old-fashioned stylistic craving!
