I’ve always been a fan of a classic peacoat. My first one I ever had was in a winter white, and ever since slipping into (and practically living in during winter) my first one, I’ve been hooked. It didn’t take long for my collection to grow – from a classic camel (a must have!), to black and white check, it soon became my go-to for outerwear. Its only downfall? Living in a more mild climate for the majority of the year limits the amount of time that is actually seasonally appropriate to be piling on the layers.
Enter: the sleeveless peacoat. It’s the perfect option for weather that doesn’t quite require a wool coat, but still gives the layering and tailored effect a classic peacoat provides. I’ve been on the hunt for the perfect one for months – but what color? Length? Weight? There are so many options! I finally decided upon this knee length olive green one. As I talked about here, I’ve got a serious love for olive green, and it pairs perfectly with so many shades!
While I’m clearly obsessed, olive green may not be everyone’s cup of tea, so I’ve linked a few of my other top contestants below to make shopping for this new fall and winter essential hassle free! I’m crushing on this gray maxi coat (for less than $100!) and this updated take on my favorite classic camel peacoat. Which are your favorites?
