Allow me to introduce you to — my absolute dream chairs. Every once in a while, I’ll stumble across a piece of furniture that totally steals my heart. A couple years ago, it happened when I saw these wicker chairs from Williams Sonoma Home. I thought they would be perfect for my Charleston sun parlor… but my heart broke a bit when the dimensions weren’t quite right.
The second I laid eyes on the breakfast nook in my Raleigh Ranch, my wheels started turning. I knew my dream wicker chairs would be the perfect addition to my favorite cozy corner. They have such a welcoming and relaxed yet intentional feel – something you’d see in a Nancy Meyers cozy-meets-chic movie set.
The natural woven texture brings just the right amount of warmth and depth to the space, and I love the trim and arm handle details. I didn’t quite pull the trigger on the matching seat cushions, so I’m substituting these linen ones I found for a fraction of the price in the mean time. It’s just enough to add a touch of softness and make the space feel light and airy.
I’m currently sitting in my new chairs to write this post with my morning coffee and feeling so grateful for what lies ahead of me at this house. There’s more in the works for this room, but I can already imagine all the breakfasts and game nights that will take place around this table… it truly feels like a dream come true.
