Elevated Low Country Boil
Low country boils are typically laid back and casual – but I opted to dress the table up a bit and really lean into the theme with some fun accessories. I wanted to go for a coastal blue and yellow theme for this dinner party with lots of natural elements. I think the key to an interesting tablescape is having lots of layers and textures – my formula is a beautiful tablecloth, chargers, stacked plates, accent dishes and beautiful platters and topping that off with a contrasting napkin in an fun fold – I went with kind of undone knots for this look.

This tablescape was inspired by the beautiful tablecloth - I loved the moody maroons and purple vines swirling through it for fall. I emphasized the colors out with some scalloped napkins and watercolored menus. To make the table setting extra cozy, I added dark brown rattan napkin rings and chargers, as well as some neutral colored pumpkins and freshly potted rosemary. I finished off the tablescape with my favorite silver candlesticks and plaid lumbar pillows on each chair to allow for hours of comfortable lounging.

A Ralph Lauren Inspired Christmas
Whenever I see a traditional Christmas plaid, my mind immediately goes to anything Ralph Lauren. It has such a classic holiday feel! I leaned into that aesthetic with by letting the linens and greenery make a statement, and keeping everything else simple. I went with pine and magnolia leaves for a center garland, and used simple matte white dinnerware. To finish the look, I added pops of silver through flatware and candlesticks - another nod to the Ralph Lauren vibe!

In my opinion, paisley prints can go one of two ways - sophisticated and preppy or laid-back and vintage. I chose to style this beautiful tablecloth in a more organic way, bringing in natural elements with potted plants, a linen runner and seagrass textures. The dark rattan chargers add a bit of contrast to the table and the knotted lace napkins provide a delicate and feminine detail. This was the perfect tablescape for an cozy night of soup in the sunroom with my mama.

Rustic 'Welcome to Fall' Gnocchi Night
The delicate plaid pattern on this tablecloth felt so fitting for one of my first fall tablescapes of the year. I paired is it with some of my favorite crochet chargers to give it a bit of a rustic feel, layering on terracotta pots with fresh herbs, twisted taper candles and mini pumpkins. Whenever I serve fresh pasta, I love to have additional seasonings (cheeses, salt, pepper, herbs) for guests to add to their dish based on their preferences. It makes the experience more interactive and personal!

As I’ve been awaiting the arrival of the warmer months, I’ve been injecting my home with beautiful summer decor, adding a extra bit of color and joy. I love curating a beautiful tablescape to match the mood of the season, incorporating dainty details, such as block-print floral tablecloths, beautiful woven napkin rings, delicately patterned plates, and sleek glassware. It’s the little touches that bring a table setting all together–the sweet melon detail on the flatware perfectly brings an element of summer to the table.

Summer in Italy Dinner Party
As with any dinner party, themed or not, I love curating a beautiful tablescape to match the mood of the event, incorporating little details, such as fresh lemons as the centerpiece, bold striped napkins used as placemats, delicately textured plates, and minmal glassware. It’s the tiny touches that bring a table setting all together – the sweet wicker detail on the serveware perfectly brings an element of summer to the table.

Al fresco tablescapes are always a little more whimsical and relaxed… a style I really love creating. Mixed and matched patterns, rattan and organic textures–I live for it!
Even though I don’t currently have an outdoor dining space, it’s not going to stop me from setting a beautiful tablescape. I recently received this stunning block print-inspired tablecloth (it’s for indoor or outdoor use) and it inspired me to inject punches color and pattern into my indoor settings, just as I would outside.
