While Ryan and I aren’t typically big on Valentine’s Day (we’re big on gifting throughout the year as surprises), this year feels like it needs a little extra love. It’s been a tough one, and we’ve been through a lot of changes, and he has been an unwavering support for me. Ryan has been my saving grace through quarantine, and I love him more than ever after being attached to his side 24/7. I also think he deserves a little reward for dealing with me attached to his side for the past year!
Our Valentine’s will most likely include Chinese takeout and a bottle of our favorite wine, but I’m also looking into surprising him with a little something I know he will appreciate. My favorite things to give are those little luxuries a person would never buy themselves. Whether if it’s because it’s unnecessary or the price tag doesn’t seem practical, I know that those thoughtful gifts will bring a smile to his face.
I’ve rounded up some of my favorites selects for him below, as well as a few things to either treat yourself with, or add to your wish list. x
1 / Pajama pants – Ryan already has a couple of pairs of these and loves them! They are super breathable and a classic wardrobe staple.
2 / Nike sneakers – Ryan has worn the leather version of these for years.. and this mesh style is currently on sale!
3 / Faux-shearling slippers – Another favorite of Ryan’s — he’s been living in these during quarantine!
4 / Sunglasses – These are a really nice alternative to the RayBan style everyone wears.
5 / Decanter – You can’t go wrong with a classic decanter for the bar. Pair with a bottle of his favorite whiskey.
6 / Luxe pack of socks – For something small, this three pack of luxe socks is something he will definitely get the wear out of.
7 / Leather gloves – These are such a great find! Every guy needs a dressy pair of gloves for going out in the colder months.
8 / Ralph Lauren wallet – For under $100, I love this classic style wallet. I also love giving something I know he will see daily and will make him smile.
1 / Gold necklace – These are so on trend right now if you’re wanting to purchase a nice piece of jewelry. Any gold chain/dainty necklace would be a perfect choice.
2 / Silk pajama set – I pretty much exclusively sleep in silky pajamas and don’t think you can go wrong with this gift!
3 / Timeless Pearly earrings – I’ve completely fallen in love with the earrings by this brand. So many unique choices!
4 / Byredo perfume – This is also on my personal wishlist. I’ve heard rave reviews of this brand and I’m dying to try it.
5 / Velvet & satin bra – This is one of those things someone wouldn’t always buy themselves. No one needs a super luxe bra, but it would make her feel special to slip into it some days!
6 / Chanel bronzer – This is on my wish list… I’m thinking I may treat myself to this on Valentine’s Day!
7 / Silk sleep mask – A sleep mask is always a great go-to gift. This is perfect for those celebrating Galentine’s as well.
8 / Lipstick – Pillowtalk by Charlotte Tilbury is a safe bet for just about anyone. It looks great on all skin tones and is such a classic!
9 / Luxe candle – This is one of the most luxe candles on the market — definitely something I would never buy myself, but it deserves a spot on my wishlist!
10 / Parachute bathrobe – I have this bathrobe and love it so much! I always get ready in it every morning!
