My take on the sale…
Alright fam, let’s chat about the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. The once a year sale where brand new inventory is released at a discounted price. It’s a fun sale, but there’s also SO much hype around it. Here’s my honest opinion…
I’ve purchased less and less from the sale each year, mostly because my purchases typically don’t last from one season to the next. Leggings I’ve purchased haven’t been my favorite, and those basic tees that seem all the rage either don’t last, or I find others I love much more.
If you have gaps in your wardrobe for some basic booties, are a Barefoot Dreams lover, or just love a good sale, then now is a great time to shop. However, my approach is to either look at investment long-lasting items that have been marked down or beauty staples I already use and love.
My purchases this year…
I tend to purchase a pair of boots from the sale every year, and those items are the only ones that are still in my wardrobe. I noticed last season that I felt like flat, everyday boots were missing my from wardrobe, so I’m thinking about investing in these for fall and winter.
I’m also going to stock up on a couple of bottles of my St. Tropez self-tanner – I already use it and know I love it. Other than that, I may grab this blanket I purchased last year in another color, but that’s it!
