Spotlight On: Etsy Favorites

It’s no secret that supporting small businesses is of the utmost importance right now. Several of them rely on daily foot traffic and in-person sales to be able to pay rent for their space or provide for their families. This time could literally break their business, so I’m keeping that front of mind and choosing to purchase from smaller, local shops when I can.

I just received an email from the CEO of Etsy, and it encouraged me to put together this post. He reiterated the importance of supporting these small businesses and shopping Etsy if you can. Lots of small and local businesses are also selling on the platform to try to maintain sales. In his email, Josh Silverman says,

“This is the community that Etsy is built to support, because behind every purchase, there’s a person, not a factory.”

I’ve been doing lots of shopping on Etsy myself lately, and I’ve found some one-of-a-kind treasures that I love! I recently purchased the candlestick holder on my coffee table from Etsy, as well as several art prints and a vintage lamp. I’m going to round up other things I’ve had my eye on below and I’ll keep updating this page as I find more! These unique vases and this bowl are both currently in my cart…
